German Mid-Century OPAL Serving Trolley with Paris Ceramic Top
CHF 290
The ceramic surface is illustrated with playful Paris-inspired motifs, including the Eiffel Tower, small figures, flowers, birds and graphic architectural details. The pale ceramic ground has a fine decorative craquelé glaze — a typical surface effect of the ceramic glaze, not a structural crack or damage to the plate.
Particularly notable is the condition of the ceramic top: it is complete and without cracks. For a piece of this size and age, that is genuinely remarkable. The combination of beech wood, illustrated ceramic and mobile functionality makes this a practical and decorative piece for a living room, bar corner, kitchen, studio or display setting.
A lovely example of German mid-century domestic design — useful, graphic and full of 1950s charm.
