Pair of Fratelli Reguitti Children’s Folding Chairs, Italy, 1950s
CHF 125
A charming pair of vintage children’s folding chairs by Fratelli Reguitti, Italy, dating to the 1950s. The chairs are made from warm-toned wood with slatted seats, open backs, rounded arms and visible metal fixing details.
Their small proportions give them a particularly appealing presence — somewhere between functional children’s furniture, mid-century design object and decorative interior piece. The folding construction reflects the practical design language Fratelli Reguitti became known for: compact, movable and neatly engineered.
Both chairs carry the Fratelli Reguitti mark with “Brevetti Reguitti”, referring to the patented folding construction. The chairs are functional and stable, with visible age-related wear, surface marks and patina consistent with use. No structural damage noted.
Today, they work beautifully as small occasional chairs, display pieces, children’s room decor, plant stands, photo props or as a playful accent in a vintage-inspired interior.
