Mid-Century Striped Solid Wood & Brass Serving Trolley

A striking two-tier serving trolley from the mid-20th century, combining a slender brass frame with beautifully constructed solid-wood shelves in contrasting light and dark timbers.

The alternating solid-wood strips create a particularly strong graphic effect across both tiers. Curved tubular handles, raised gallery rails and four metal wheels with rubber rims complete the elegant, lightweight construction.

The maker and exact origin are currently unknown. The construction and overall design suggest European production, most likely dating from the 1950s or 1960s.
