Amethyst Glass Top Hat Vessel - Murano, c. 1970s

The cylindrical body opens into an exceptionally broad, gently undulating rim, giving the vessel its characteristic top hat silhouette. Fine air bubbles are distributed throughout the glass, adding texture and depth without interrupting its transparency.

The form and dimensions closely correspond to a documented, signed Barovier & Toso, Murano top-hat vase dated circa 1975: the recorded example measures 18.5 cm high and 28.5 cm in diameter, compared with approximately 18 cm × 29 cm for this piece.
