Val Saint Lambert Crystal Table Lamp, Belgium, c. 1960s

A striking combination of Belgian crystal and contemporary floral design.

Produced by Val Saint Lambert, the renowned Belgian crystal manufacturer, this table lamp features a tall, sculptural base in deep violet crystal glass. Its gently twisting, tapering form is framed by clear crystal edges, creating shifting reflections and an interplay of colour and transparency.

The original Val Saint Lambert paper label remains attached to the base, alongside an engraved VSL signature.

A newly fitted cylindrical lampshade introduces a contrasting botanical pattern in burgundy, rose, ochre and green. The appearance of the floral design changes with the colour temperature of the light bulb: warm white light brings out the richer, warmer tones, while cool white light gives the pattern a crisper, more neutral appearance.

The crystal base is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or other damage. The lampshade is new.
