A wonderfully decorative mid-20th-century Chinese porcelain cat sculpture, painted in the famille noire palette with delicate polychrome florals, a soft pink bow, and a glossy black ground.
This sleeping feline, full of charm and poise, is hand-painted and bears a six-character iron red Qianlong mark on the base. While not an imperial piece, it was made in the Qing Revival decorative style, reflecting the artistry and playful motifs of earlier dynasties.
