CHF 190

Striking mid-century desk lamp designed by Josef Hůrka for Napako, one of Czechoslovakia’s most respected lighting manufacturers.

The lamp combines a vivid red lacquered shade and base with a polished chrome stem in a clean, balanced composition.

Its adjustable shade allows precise light direction — functional yet full of character.

Napako (short for “Národní podnik kovodělný průmysl”) was a leading postwar Czech lighting company.

Designer Josef Hůrka (1920–1992) defined its visual language, blending industrial precision with Bauhaus clarity and subtle playfulness.

His enamelled lamps are today recognised as icons of Czech mid-century modern design, admired for their durability and sculptural simplicity.
