Known primarily for hand-painted, folk-art-inspired ceramics, Kohler here adopts a more restrained and abstract approach. The ceramic elements are hand-glazed in vivid turquoise and mustard tones and hand-stamped “Kohler Biel”, with irregular and sometimes partial impressions — a typical characteristic of small-batch studio production rather than standardized manufacture.
