Art Deco Vanity Set – ca. 1920 | Wolfers Frères & Val Saint Lambert, Brussels
CHF 550
A rare and radiant survivor of the Art Deco era, this four-piece vanity set whispers of glamour, ritual, and refined taste. Crafted around 1920 in Brussels, it bears the hallmarks of two Belgian design legends: Wolfers Frères, master silversmiths of the Belle Époque, and Val Saint Lambert, renowned for their luminous crystal.
Each piece is a study in geometry and grace—faceted crystal bodies that catch the light like cut diamonds, topped with hallmarked 800 silver lids. The silver bears the worn but recognizable pentacle-in-triangle mark of Wolfers Frères, softened by decades of polishing and care.
This set was made not just to adorn a dressing table, but to elevate the daily ritual of self-care into something ceremonial. It’s a quiet testament to a time when beauty and utility were inseparable.
