A striking and rare vintage school chart from the 1940s, “Süßwasserfische Mitteleuropas II” presents the freshwater fish species of Central Europe in rich scientific detail. Originally designed for biology classrooms, it was published by Verlag von Paul Räth GmbH, Leipzig, for the Deutscher Fischer-Verein e.V., Berlin, under the editorial direction of W. Hein and F. W. Winter.
Twelve finely illustrated specimens—including Bachforelle, Lachs, Aal, Stör and Wels—are identified in both German and Latin, offering an exceptional educational and decorative piece. This large-format chart has been professionally mounted in a modern black aluminium poster frame with acrylic glazing for lightweight, shatter-resistant display.
